The members of the Eastern New England Ninety-Nines are women aviators of all levels and pilot experience. Our chapter is part of the New England Section, and the International Ninety-Nines, Inc., an international organization of licensed women pilots.
The Ninety-Nines promotes the advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support while honoring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight. The organization was founded in 1929 with 99 charter members, and Amelia Earhart was elected the first President in 1931. Membership was immediately opened to other women as they became licensed pilots.

Chapter Challenge Scholarship
Once again thanks to the generosity of member Lauren Lee we are offering a Chapter Challenge Scholarship. Lauren will match any donations raised up to a total of $1000. We would like to make this a scholarship fm the chapter members, and would like as many Chapter members to donate as possible. It doesn’t matter the size of the donation, every dollar counts. Let’s make this the biggest Chapter Challenge scholarship yet!
Donations can be made online at Chapter Challenge 2026
Treasurer
Effective immediately, Beth Young has replaced Sue Benua as Chapter Treasurer – Sue has moved south to enjoy the sunshine – please join us in thanking her for her outstanding service to our Chapter and to the Ninety-Nines in general – good luck Sue.
