With the help of the Owl’s Head Transportation Museum’s new STEM activity learning area, Katahdin Wings will be hosting a Girls in Aviation Day on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are inviting
40-50 young ladies in 4th to 6th grade and will be rotating groups of 8 to 10 girls through five stations exploring different aspects of aviation from runway/ATC operations, women in aviation history, preflight, forces of flight and a treasure hunt.
