Rachel Spates!

Congratulations to Gita Brown triumphant after her solo April 1st at 1B9.

"I am very grateful and proud of myself; working on my fear of flying has led to discovering a love for flying. Never saw this love of aviation coming but it has been a welcome surprise; a whole new chapter of life has opened up. Thanks to all the 99's!"

Gita Brown soloed on April 1st

  Renna Kinsbury soloed a plane

And congratulations Renna Kinsbury who soloed on April 8th, the day of the eclipse!

"My first solo couldn't have been more perfect. I had the pattern at New Bedford all to myself and the winds were nearly calm. I was honestly so scared during my first lap but I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing flying solo was. It was so cool to see the ground getting darker each tie I taxied back to runway 23 to take off."
